Thank you so much for writing me a story!
Mostly, I just want to read something hopeful and kind about people who like each other spending time together. 2020 has been a hell of a year all around, and like many other people I've spent most of it on the other side of the country from my family and friends not sure when I'll see them again. The vibe I want overall is just comfort-fic. If there's conflict in the story, I prefer it to be character(s) vs environment rather character vs character; I'd rather read about how a pair of lovers or a group of friends face a challenge together than a miscommunication or a fight between them. Happy endings, please!
I am pretty well-pleased to be getting fic in any of my requested fandoms, and excited to read stories about any of these characters, and if there's a story that you particularly want to tell I'd love to read that. That said, here are some prompts if you'd like them!
Request 1 - The Wayfarer's Trilogy - Owl & Sidra and/or Pepper/Blue
I would love a story that explores the (gen) relationship between Owl and Sidra. What is it like to get to talk to and get to know another AI? What is it like for Owl to rejoin the world after years in the museum? What is the first day like at Home? Alternatively, would love a story about Pepper and Blue and their life as they first settled on Port Coriol. How did they fall in love? Make friends, make a community for themselves? The book talks a little bit about how they chose their names - what was that moment like? You don't need to feature all four characters unless you'd like to.
Request 2 - 17776: What College Football Will Look Like In the Future - Nick/Manny
I just!!!! I love Nick and Manny so much and would any little bit of domestic slice of life, especially before the events of 20020. How and when did they meet? Were they already married and in love when they set out from San Diego? What was life like for them in Georgia? Why did they decide to play football for San Diego?
Request 3 - The Will Darling Adventures - Will/Kim and/or Phoebe/Maisie
The Sugared Game left everyone in a tough spot. Would love to read about Phoebe and Maisie in Paris, or about Will and Kim running the bookshop, or about the four of them (Will/Kim and Phoebe/Maisie) in brighter times. If you are inspired to do a case story where they take on a an enemy together, that would be brilliant as well!
